Introduction
At Artemis Infinity it is our mission to empower people and businesses through better technology.
We aim to be better at who we are and what we do, and to create the best work environment possible for our team to foster creative collaboration, encourage idea generation, and strengthen relationships.
Transparency is the foundation for everything we do. Honesty and accountability are prerequisites for strong leadership and long-lasting relationships. We are responsible for our words, actions and results. We cultivate an engaged and diverse workforce and we invest in our people. We believe that to be great, we must be great together.
With these values at the heart of our business we are able to ensure our business activities, and those of our suppliers, are conducted ethically and in a manner that prevents modern slavery and human trafficking.
Governance
We have developed a cross-organisational approach to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking form no part of our business activities and those of our suppliers. Due to the nature of our business we have a low risk of exposure to modern slavery compared to businesses in other sectors however we are not complacent. We have:
- Communicated internally and externally our commitment to operating ethically.
- Educated our teams on what constitutes human trafficking.
- Developed effective internal procedures to report modern slavery concerns.
- Developed monitoring procedures to ensure compliance.
- Prepared our Annual Modern Slavery Statement engaging with external bodies to enhance our knowledge.
Our Colleagues
Our differences make us stronger and diversity drives innovation. We nurture a culture where differences are valued, encouraged, and supported for everyone. We do not discriminate in employment.
We actively promote colleague communication. Everyone gets a voice, and everyone is heard.
We encourage colleagues to raise concerns, including any concerns of modern slavery either directly or through our whistleblowing procedures. Our Whistleblowing Policy encourages disclosure from any person, internal and external.
Our colleagues are highly skilled and are paid no less than the National Living Wage.
We do not employ minors.
Our Suppliers
A Modern Slavery assessment forms part of our supplier on-boarding procedure.
We undertake increased due diligence in respect of our business and supply chains on a risk basis and we liaise with external bodies to ensure we enhance our knowledge of emerging risks.
Our suppliers are predominantly large, multi-national organisations who are subject to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We will ask for details of our suppliers’ ethical operating standards through our formal tendering process.
Our Future Plan
We will continue to review and report on business practices including how we engage with suppliers who may be identified as higher risk.
Before engaging any third-party supplier, a review of suitably will be conducted to ensure they meet the high ethical standards of the Business.
Where suppliers are not subject to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we will require them to demonstrate their commitment to eliminating Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
A Review of our commitment to the principles set out in this Statement will be delivered to the Company Board annually with reference to emerging risks and actions.
